Williamwood Guild has a membership of 37 including 2 men, with an average attendance of 27. We hold our meetings on alternate Tuesday evenings at 7.30pm from October to April.

The Guild supports 6 Projects every 3 years which impacts on people all around the world and ensures that members are praying for them, while learning about them and raising money for the most marginalised in society. We have many interesting and entertaining talks covering a wide range of topics, including two each year from our Projects.

The Guild holds coffee mornings every May and September with delicious home baking and a range of stalls.

What is it all about

The Guild is about invitation, encouragement, commitment, and fellowship which leads to providing opportunities for continuing growth in Christian faith through worship, prayer and action.

Worship is an essential ingredient in all meetings and activities. Prayer underpins everything – and is a means of involving those members who cannot be active in other ways.

Action means living out the faith through project work, exploration of the discussion topics and local involvement of groups and individual members in various aspects of Christian service.
